The Lord is My…

…He raised up for them David as king, to whom also He gave testimony and said, ‘I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after My own heart, who will do all My will.’

- Acts 13:22

“The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me, Because the Lord has anointed Me To preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives, And the opening of the prison to those who are bound; 2  To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, And the day of vengeance of our God; To comfort all who mourn, 3 To console those who mourn in Zion, To give them beauty for ashes, The oil of joy for mourning, The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; That they may be called trees of righteousness, The planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.”

- Isaiah 61: 1-3

6 David was greatly distressed because the men were talking of stoning him; each one was bitter in spirit because of his sons and daughters. But David found strength in the Lord his God. 7  Then David said to Abiathar the priest, the son of Ahimelek, “Bring me the ephod.” Abiathar brought it to him,  8  and David inquired of the Lord, “Shall I pursue this raiding party? Will I overtake them?” “Pursue them,” he answered. “You will certainly overtake them and succeed in the rescue.”

- 1 Samuel 30:6-8

Everlasting God (Lyrics)

The Lord is my light and salvation. Whom shall, I fear? Whom shall I be afraid?

The Lord is my light and salvation. Whom shall, I fear? Whom shall I be afraid?

I will wait on You. I will wait on You. I will trust in You. I will trust in You.

I will remain confident in this I will see the goodness of the Lord.

I will remain confident in this I will see the goodness of the Lord.

We set our hope on You. We set our hope on Your love.

We set our hope on the One

Who is the Everlasting God. You are the Everlasting God.

You are the Everlasting…

Declare!

The Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid?

- Romans 8:31

Beware!

2  When the wicked came against me to eat up my flesh, My enemies and foes, they stumbled and fell. 3  Though an army may encamp against me, my heart shall not fear; Though war may rise against me, In this I will be confident.

- Psalm 27:2-3

Draw near!

One thing I have desired of the Lord, That will I seek: That I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, To behold the beauty of the Lord, And to inquire in His temple. 5  For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion; In the secret place of His tabernacle He shall hide me; He shall set me high upon a rock.

- Psalm 27:4-5

Declare! Again!

6 And now my head shall be lifted up above my enemies all around me; Therefore I will offer sacrifices of joy in His tabernacle; I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the Lord.

- Psalm 27:6

Prepare!

7 Hear, O Lord, when I cry with my voice! Have mercy also upon me, and answer me. 8  When You said, “Seek My face,” My heart said to You, “Your face, Lord, I will seek.”

- Psalm 27:7-8
13  I would have lost heart, unless I had believed That I would see the goodness of the Lord In the land of the living. 14  Wait on the Lord; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the Lord!

- Psalm 27:13-14
