1. Persistence
26 And he said, “The kingdom of God is as if a man should scatter seed on the ground. 27 He sleeps and rises night and day, and the seed sprouts and grows; he knows not how. - Mark 4:26-27
9 And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. - Galatians 6:9
2. The Right People
36 And leaving the crowd, they took him with them in the boat, just as he was. And other boats were with him. - Mark 4:36
19 Then his mother and his brothers came to him, but they could not reach him because of the crowd. 20 And he was told, “Your mother and your brothers are standing outside, desiring to see you.” 21 But he answered them, “My mother and my brothers are those who hear the word of God and do it.” - Luke 8:19-21
3. The Right Perspective
37 And a great windstorm arose, and the waves were breaking into the boat, so that the boat was already filling. 38 But he was in the stern, asleep on the cushion. And they woke him and said to him, “Teacher, do you not care that we are perishing?” - Mark 4:37-38
