Three Hebrew words in the bible that describes “peace”

  • Shaqat - Rest (Judges 3:11)

  • Shalam - Cessation from war, to be safe, to be friends with (Joshua 11:19)

  • Shalom - To be made whole, complete (Isaiah 9:6)
